In order to ensure the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan № PP-102 “On measures to improve and expand the scope of endocrinological care” in Romitan district, one of the most remote regions of our region, the doctor of Bukhara regional endocrinological dispensary Shakhrieva M.K. conducted an in-depth medical examination. Based on the results of blood glucose level analysis of the residents who came for medical examination, the specialists gave necessary recommendations and advice to the GPs and nurses held a seminar on “Diabetes screening and primary prevention of iodine deficiency, promotion of healthy lifestyle and proper nutrition among the population”. The PP-102 screening program was conducted among the population over 40 years old and provided insight into diseases that are detected at an early stage and without complications.
