In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan from January 26, 2022 № PP-102 in order to improve knowledge and skills of primary health care workers on screening, prevention and treatment of endocrine diseases in the conference hall of KIBRAI district medical center was held a training seminar for 15 family physicians and 35 nurses of the medical team with the participation of the curator of Tashkent OBLAST ENDOCRINOLOGICAL DISPENSER. The seminar included presentations on diabetes and prediabetes screening algorithm, rules of correct diagnosis, and iodine deficiency problems.
In order to improve the efficiency of work of medical workers with the population, recommendations were given on conducting explanatory work on the importance of proper nutrition and physical activity, as well as on discussing problems arising in the process of work and answering questions of medical workers.
