Written report on the population screening conducted from April 21 to 30

From April 21 to 30, a population screening was conducted as part of preventive medical examinations. First-year clinical residents, under the supervision of specialist physicians, participated in this activity. The primary goal of the screening was the early detection of endocrine diseases and their risk factors.
During the screening, patients' medical histories were collected, and complaints, lifestyle, and possible hereditary factors were thoroughly examined. Particular attention was paid to symptoms associated with thyroid dysfunction and metabolic disorders.
The physical examination included palpation of the thyroid gland to assess its size, structure, and the presence of nodules. If suspicious changes were detected, patients were referred for a thyroid ultrasound.
Based on the ultrasound results, additional laboratory tests, including a hormonal profile, were prescribed if necessary. All patients with identified abnormalities were given recommendations for further testing and scheduled for a follow-up examination with an endocrinologist.
During the screening, preliminary diagnoses were made:
diffuse goiter
nodular goiter
thyroiditis
hypothyroidism
obesity
This work allowed us to identify patients with early signs of endocrine disorders and promptly refer them for further examination and treatment.
