May 21, 2026, under the slogan “For human dignity! ” at the 31st Family Polyclinic of the Uychi District Branch of the SPP, screening and medical examination of residents over 40 years of age for the early detection of diabetes mellitus were conducted in order to ensure the implementation of Presidential Resolution PK-102 of 26.01.2022, "On measures to improve and expand the scope of endocrinology services." The event was attended by T. Ismatillaev, Chairman of the Nuroniya Fund Department of the Uychi District, and G. Abdullaev, Chairman of the Council of the People's Democratic Party of the Republic of Uzbekistan of the Uychi District. Sixty residents were screened. During the survey, four individuals were newly diagnosed with diabetes, five with prediabetes, 22 with type 1 obesity, five with type 2 obesity, and one with type 3 obesity. Twelve individuals were identified as overweight and two with thyroid disease. Patients with these conditions were given necessary recommendations and advice. Additionally, those who attended the survey were interviewed about type 2 diabetes and its prevention, maintaining a healthy lifestyle, proper nutrition, and increasing physical activity. Questions of interest to the public were also answered.
