The event, organized jointly by Tashkent State Medical University and the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Endocrinology, was attended by scientists, professors, doctors, students, postgraduate students, the academician's students, and colleagues. At the beginning of the event, a film dedicated to the life and scientific work of Academician Yolkin Turakulov was shown. The conference included presentations on the scientist's role in the formation of the Uzbek school of endocrinology, his fundamental research in biochemistry, radiation therapy, and iodine deficiency disorders.
